This plugin solves the major com_search shortcoming for content items search.

KD Content Search Plugin overrides 'Ordering' option (Newest first, Oldest first, Most Popular, etc.) and returns results based on keyword density only.

Keyword Density is the actual frequency of the text string in the content item.

MostRead Cloud and Lists Module

MostRead Cloud and Lists has been created after a request by rufuz on our Forum and is a merge between our SearchCloud and Popular of Late by Denis Ryabov with the addition of Featured Items and Blacklist.

It shows a list or a cloud of the most viewed currently published items (or featured items, or some and some...) that are not blacklisted or someting like that .

This module requires a Subscription to download.

Description

This module keeps all the basics functions of Popular of Late 1.1.1 and adds all the display functionalities of SearchCloud and some more:

Featured Items and Blacklist
Content Items can be displayed both as List and as Cloud.
Items can be sorted Alphabetically, by Hits and by Recency.

+ Module takes the same structure as the Joomla! 1.5 version to allow for multiple copies of the module in the same page.

Version 1.3 for J! 1.0 and Version 1.1 for J! 1.5

Description

This module faces 3 issues that other similar modules avoid to face:

Joomla! Search component, com_search, fails to work properly if search strings are longer than 20 characters.
The results displayed come not just from content items but from all published searchbots.
In "Test Mode" you don't have to wait for search engines to index your website but you can immediately check how the module works and fine-tune your settings.

In addition, you can use special characters and html to customize your welcome message. Have a look at the "Backend" tab to see a snapshot of the module control panel.
